If you are applying as the Parent of a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident, you will need to submit proof that you have lived in Texas or the United States since January 1, 2010.
Below are examples of documents that you will need to include:
Birth Certificate of U.S. Born Children or Children with Permanent Residency
Passport for U.S. Born Children (if they have one)
Social Security Card for U.S. Born Children or Children with Permanent Residency
Your Birth Certificate
Documents to prove physical presence since January 1, 2010
Examples of Documents to Prove Physical Presence
Bills (eg: phone, electric, medical, car payments, etc.)
IRS Tax Returns
Receipts (eg: store receipts, purchase receipts, etc.)
Rental Agreement (for home or apartment)
